ODA 214 Practice/Open Play Day

Operation: Granite Response is the first in a series of paintball games in the DFW area that bring paintball "back to its roots."

The goal of this game is to offer paintball games that challenge the players to think and that have more to do than simply shoot as much paint as possible in the least possible time. Hopefully, we can provide a high "cool" factor to the games and expose players to many styles of play that they won't find on your average paintball field.

Schedule is as follows:

• 0830: Registration Begins
• 0900: All-player Safety Briefing and Rules
• 0915: New Player Orientation
• 1000: Game 1 Briefing: Capture the Flag
• 1015: Game 1 Start (30 minutes)
• 1045: Break
• 1100: Game 2 Briefing: Scavenger Hunt
• 1115: Game 2 Start (45 minutes)
• 1200: Lunch Break
• 1230: Game 3 Briefing: Operation: Granite Response
• 1245: Game 3 Start (120 minutes)
• 1445: Break
• 1500: Game 4 Briefing: Martian Ball
• 1515: Game 4 Start (45 minutes)
• 1600: Break
• 1615: Target Shoot Off
• 1700: Additional Pick-up Games as Needed

Player registration is $5. This covers entry into the Target Shoot Off and a chance at our prize, a PT Extreme Jr paintball pistol with extra clip and tactical holster. This prize is generously sponsored by Gatsplat Paintball. Depending on attendance, additional prizes may be available.

Prices

• Event Cost: $5
• Rentals: $24 full day, $20 half day.
• Paint: $55 per case of 2000
• Non-rental field fee: $10
• BYOP fee: $10
• HPA fills: $18 full day, $10 half day
• C02 fills: $10 full day, $6 half day

If attendance exceeds 30 players, a discount rate for rentals is available.

The average rental player can expect to spend $62 for a full day of play, including equipment rental, spliting a case of paint (using 1000 rounds) with a friend and event costs.
